Data controller

Apply ApS, CVR 40237992, is the data controller for the processing described here. You can find us at Havnegade 25, 1058 København K, Denmark.

When you visit the website

Our hosting and security provider may process standard technical information such as IP address, time, the address visited, browser type and any errors. This is done to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the website.

This processing is based on our legitimate interest in stable and secure operation. Technical information is only kept for as long as it is necessary for operation and security.

If you actively opt in to statistics, our self-hosted Umami setup processes page views, visits, a rotating technical visit identifier, traffic source, browser, device and approximate country. We also record a few fixed events: views of key sections, case opens and CTA clicks. URL parameters and hash fragments are not sent to Umami.

Statistics are based on your consent. If your browser has Do Not Track enabled, we do not measure, even if you have said yes. The data is pseudonymous, not anonymous in the strict sense. The raw IP address is not stored; it is only used briefly for a geographic lookup and to calculate Umami’s rotating hash. That is why we describe the metric as visitors, not unique individuals. The data is deleted automatically after 13 months. Your choice is stored locally in your browser for up to 12 months and can always be changed via Privacy choice in the footer.

When you contact us

If you write to us or call us, we process the contact details and the content you choose to give us. The purpose is to respond to your enquiry, advise you and, where relevant, prepare or perform an agreement.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and, where relevant, the steps that are necessary to enter into or perform an agreement. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed, unless legislation or documentation requirements call for longer retention.

Suppliers and disclosure

We use Cloudflare for hosting and Hetzner in Germany for the self-hosted Umami installation, as well as standard suppliers for email and IT operations. They only get access to information when it is necessary for their task. If information is processed outside the EU/EEA, we make sure there is a valid legal basis for the transfer and relevant security measures in place.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Your rights

Depending on the situation, you can ask for access to your information, or for it to be rectified, erased, restricted or handed over to you. You can also object to processing that is based on a legitimate interest.

You can withdraw your consent to statistics with one click via Privacy choice in the footer. This stops new events immediately and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Email kontakt@apply.agency if you want to exercise your rights or have any questions. You can also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet (opens in a new tab).
